What: The Louisville Sculling Clinic. Our focus is on introducing and teaching the fundamentals of sculling to high school athletes. This will be an intensive, skills driven clinic with a low coach-to-rower ratio. Only 10 seats are available at each clinic. We'll be using top-of-the-line Pocock and Concept2 sculling equipment.

Where: University of Louisville Boathouse.

When: There are two clinics, each clinic is three three-hour sessions. The dates and times are:
9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday - Saturday, June 19, 20, 21
9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday - Saturday, June 26, 27, 28

What to Expect:

  • A fun and intensive practice environment with a high degree of personal instruction.
  • Latest drills and a high level of coaching instruction.
  • Includes the use of video to analyze technique.
  • Will include a brief seminar on rowing in college and the recruiting process for those interested in taking it to the next level.

    Payment & Balance: $230 per rower. This covers you for use of the facilities, camp insurance, equipment, and coaching. We will have water and sports beverages available. Any snacks/meals and transportation must be arranged by the participants. All scullers get an official camp t-shirt.

    A non-refundable deposit of $80 is due with your registration no later than June 9, 2008. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space available basis.

    Your balance is due on June 16, 2008. If you cancel for any reason within the week of the camp, your entire balance is non-refundable.
